Offer Description
The purpose of the contract is to provide research support activities linked to the Good‑Lac project.
Handling and monitoring lab animals
Taking samples and conducting biochemical, morphological and gene expression analyses
Supporting lab management (stock management, procurement, etc.) and outreach for the project’s outcomes

Specific Requirements
Candidates must have a wide availability with regard to scheduling and travel.
Particular consideration will be given to the following:
Other university qualifications (degrees linked to biochemistry, master’s degrees linked to nutrigenomics)
Experience working in research labs linked to nutrition and nutrigenomics, as well as scientific outreach (e.g. student assistantships, etc.)
Training courses (relevant for the profile)
Participation at conferences/seminars or similar (relevant for the profile)
Other professional activities (relevant for the profile)
An ability for organisational management and scientific outreach
Other merits (relevant for the profile)
Language Requirements
Language skills (English).
Experience required: 1‑4 years.
Prior Experience
Candidates must have the following:
Proven experience in molecular biology techniques (research papers linked to nutrigenomics)
Proven experience handling lab animals (certification course)
Years of Research Experience: 1‑4
Internal Application form(s) needed.
National Social Security Insurance (Public Health Insurance).
Planned end date of the tasks subject to the contract: Wednesday, September 30, 2026
Eligibility Criteria
Curricular merits in the field (max. 40 points).
Qualifications in the specialist area (max. 20 points), other (max. 5 points).
Video curriculum and, if applicable, personal interview (max. 20 points).
Experience in the field (max. 15 points). E.g: > 3 years (10 points), < 3 years (5 points).
Other merits (max. +5 points). E.g: recommendation letters.
Eligibility threshold: 60 points.
Candidates who hold the qualification corresponding to the required category in the job offer with a non‑EU degree, if selected, must present a certificate of equivalence of their non‑EU qualification to a European qualification, or proof of having applied for this equivalence, in order to proceed with their hiring. Selection Process
In accordance with article 8 of the REGULATORY AGREEMENT 145140 of 15th June 2022 that approves the regulation governing the recruitment of research staff under chapter 6 allocation of the university budget, as well as technical or operational research staff.
Selection Committee
The relevant Pro‑Vice‑Chancellor for Research (or person s/he delegates), as chair.
The management team for the relevant department.
The members of the Research Area Assessment Committee (CARAI).
Three experts in the field pertaining to recruitment, where appropriate, appointed by the chair of the committee, having heard from the management team of the department.
The head of the Management Office for the Research Promotion and Human Resources Programme (or person s/he delegates), acting as secretary, who may speak but not vote.
