pbAbout Coonerang /b /ppbr/ppWe are a growing English language academy with two centres in Arroyomolinos, built around our own teaching methodology — bpractical, dynamic, and focused on real communication /b. We don't teach English as a subject to be memorised; bwe use English as the vehicle to develop genuine speaking and communication skills /b, so students actually use the language rather than just study it. /ppWe are currently consolidating this methodology, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with the project and take on a key role within the academic team, not just another teaching position. /ppbr/ppbThe Role /b /ppbr/ppWe are looking for an Academic Coordinator to be the backbone of the day-to-day running of our two centres: the person who supports the teaching team, works with families, and makes sure everything runs in an orderly way. This is a hybrid role: you will coordinate and you will also teach (20–25 hours per week). If you enjoy organising, leading a team, and getting things done well — and you enjoy teaching — this role is for you. /ppbr/ppbWhat will you do /b /ppbr/pulliBe the daily point of support for the teaching team: resolving issues, answering questions, and handling material needs. /liliSupport the onboarding of new teachers and help them integrate into our way of working. /liliCommunicate with families on student follow-up: reports, queries, and resolving issues. /liliCoordinate the running of both centres: timetables, classrooms, and teacher assignments. /liliEnsure the team meets its commitments: grades, homework, and student reports on time. /liliReview materials before publication and keep them organised on our platform. /liliTeach 15–20 hours per week, preferably at intermediate and advanced levels. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbWhat we are looking for in you /b /ppbr/pullibLeadership backbone. /bYou know how to bring order and say what needs to be said to a colleague, with respect and without backing down. /lilibImpeccable organisation. /bYou have your own systems; when you coordinate, things don't fall through the cracks. /lilibStrong teaching ability. /bYou know how to teach and can explain why you teach the way you do. /lilibA warm, approachable manner. /bTeachers and families trust you because you listen and you solve problems. /lilibA builder's mindset. /bYou are motivated by a growing project with a methodology still in development; you don't need everything to be already set in stone. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbRequirements /b /ppbr/pulliEnglish at C1 minimum (C2 valued). /liliFluent Spanish for working with families (C1 or above; native speakers valued). /liliAt least 2–3 years' experience in a private academy or educational centre. /liliA degree in education, English/modern languages, translation, pedagogy, or equivalent. /liliA teaching qualification (CELTA, TEFL, or similar) valued. /liliPrevious experience coordinating or acting as a team reference point, even informally: highly valued. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbWhat we offer /b /ppbr/pulliA stable contract within a growing educational project. /liliA salary of €1,500–€1,800 gross/month based on experience and profile. /liliA role with real responsibility and room to grow /liliTraining in our own methodology and direct work with management. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbHow to apply /b /ppbr/ppSend us your CV and a short note (no more than five lines) telling us about a time you had to bring order to, or lead, a team or a group of colleagues.
