As an Accounting Specialist on our team, you will: Record and classify accounting transactions in the general ledger (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, etc.) Prepare and review balance sheets, financial statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports Reconcile bank accounts and customer/supplier accounts, ensuring data accuracy and consistency Manage invoicing and control of collections and payments, ensuring correct VAT application and compliance with tax regulations Support the preparation of tax declarations, such as VAT, income tax, and corporate tax Maintain up-to-date accounting and financial documentation, both physical and digital Collaborate with internal and external audits, providing accounting data and supporting documents as required Assist in preparing financial forecasts and reports Monitor inventories and fixed assets, performing the corresponding accounting entries and adjustments Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, as well as with the company's internal policies We embrace our game-changers with open arms, people from diverse backgrounds, who are curious and willing to learn. Requirements: A proficient or bilingual level of Spanish and advanced English 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role Strong sense of responsibility Initiative to take ownership of accounting tasks and act as a positive driver of change Team-oriented mindset and good collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
