Overview
As a Data Analytics Engineer at Deel, you design and maintain data models and end-to-end pipelines to deliver timely, reliable data for analysis. You work with analytics engineers and analysts to ensure consistent metrics and definitions across the team. You apply SQL and dbt to transform data and validate quality, optimizing performance as needed. You will contribute to analytics workflows and occasionally lead parts of meetings. This role supports Deel’s mission to enable a global, compliant, data-driven workforce.

ResponsabilidadesDesign, develop, and maintain data models (e.g., in dbt) aligned with data architecture and business requirementsManage data pipelines end-to-end from extraction to transformation and loadingUse complex SQL queries and macros to transform data and optimize performanceIncorporate data quality checks and cleansing routines for reliable datasetsCollaborate with data analysts and analytics engineers to ensure consistency and accuracy of metricsContribute to team processes by leading portions of meetings or sharing improvements to analytics workflows
Requisitos principalesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics)At least 3 years of experience in data analytics engineering or BI developmentStrong proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt and data warehousing conceptsHands-on experience with BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, or similar)Basic programming skills in Python or similar language for data processing and automationProven ability to handle multiple data projects, troubleshoot data issues, and meet deadlinesGood communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team membersGood communication skillsCollaborative mindsetAbility to manage multiple data projectsSQLdbtData modeling
