Application Engineer eSIM and IoT
Location: Sant Joan Despí (BCN), Spain
We are looking for an Application Engineer eSIM and IoT in our mobile security team. This hands‑on engineering role focuses on the deployment and administration of Java applications for our customers.
Responsibilities
Install, integrate, and troubleshoot Java‑based applications hosted at G+D Datacenters and cloud environments.
Operate web servers, proxy servers, and Java applications in a Linux environment, managing digital certificates and keys.
Analyze and resolve incidents related to Java applications, following ITIL‑based service level agreements.
Implement, test, and document new customer solutions in coordination with project management and internal teams.
Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging, and event management systems.
Automate operational support tasks and system deployments using scripts and Ansible.
Knowledge and Skills
Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent.
Experience managing web servers, Apache, Tomcat, and Java applications in Linux.
Basic knowledge of container orchestration such as Kubernetes, OpenShift or Amazon ECS.
Understanding of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP).
Scripting skills (Bash, Python) and ideally experience with Ansible.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and Service Management.
Experience with Agile/Scrum teamwork.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
