Business Unit Manager Joint Replacement Iberia Join to apply for the Business Unit Manager Joint Replacement Iberia role at Stryker Reporting directly to the Senior Business Unit Director of the Southern Europe Joint Replacement division, the Business Unit Manager for JR Iberia oversees the management of the Business Unit in the country. Stryker’s Joint Replacement division is at the forefront of orthopedic innovation, delivering market-leading hip and knee implants combined with advanced Mako SmartRobotics™ technology. By integrating precision robotics, digital planning, and surgeon-focused solutions, the division empowers healthcare providers to achieve superior outcomes and transform the future of joint replacement surgery. The southern Europe region plans double‑digit growth over the next 4 years. The Business Unit manager will directly manage a team of Regional Sales Managers and oversee JR country commercial teams (including indirect channels). The role coordinates additional support roles to expand the business and capture market share. With P&L responsibility over Iberia, the role is pivotal in executing the strategic objectives of the Stryker Joint Replacement Business Unit, spearheading launch, planning, implementation, and oversight of sales force and marketing programs tailored to boost market penetration and profitability. We seek a Sales Leader with a 360 and long‑term perspective, able to drive meaningful and sustainable initiatives and turn around our organization to meet market expectations. Find more information about the division’s products: Responsibilities Coordination of Sales Actions Control of the Reporting (Highlights) Optimization of resources in the area Information workflow management within the department and between other departments Controlling and managing all resources, personnel, and materials of the area High level knowledge of CMF diverse products, applications, and techniques Follow up pricing policy of the company; discount authorizationsapproval and management Monthly report to CMF Director on sales evolution and market adaptation Coordinate sales force Promotion and presentation of products to sales force; intermediation between sales area and customers Achievement of periodic marketing plans and long‑term strategic plans (3 and 5 years) Responsible for launching products at national level Coordination, distribution, and logistics of the product (conditionals, deposits, kits) Control and management of the company investment, personnel team, expenses in the area, margins and prices Supervise proper segregation of waste in the department Minimum Qualifications 10+ years overall commercial experience (Marketing and Sales) Solid experience as Commercial or Division Business Unit Leader or Regional Sales Manager in a medical device business with proven career progression Direct selling experience required, preferably in medical device industry, with good knowledge of opinion leaders, main products and competitors Fluent English and Spanish; intermediate Italian isa plus Proven experience delivering market share growth and meeting financial commitments Experience building and executing marketing/sales budget and plan Demonstrated success in building, managing, motivating, and developing strong sales teams with direct and indirect channels Demonstrated ability to build engagement and leverage performance management systems to reach objectives Strong commercial/financial acumen; record of overachievingorganizational goals (sales, growth, P&L) Excellent collaboration and communication skills; strong cross‑functionalinfluencing skills & teamwork Territory & Location Territory: Spain & PortugalBased Location: SpainType: FieldTravel: 60-70% We look for Hard‑working winners – confident, competitive, results‑oriented Dedicated achievers – thrive in fast‑paced environment Effective communicators – clear and concise communication of results Collaborative partners – build cross‑functional relationships What we offer Flat hierarchies and responsibility Talent growth and career development opportunities Team spirit & engagement Competitive salary package and benefits Recognition of performance (awards) Promoting work‑life balance through flexible hours Referral program – submit a referral before applying Know someone at Stryker?
