Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and own the accounting function for a global payments leader, ensuring statutory compliance, financial reporting, and strong internal controls. You will mentor the accounting team, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and manage audits and tax interactions across multiple countries. You’ll drive full close cycles, consolidate IFRS accounts, and enhance policies to support growth. - Own statutory accounting, governance, internal controls, and audit/tax interactions
- Lead and develop the accounting team to foster accountability and continuous improvement
- Manage full close cycles (monthly/quarterly/annual) ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations (intercompany, AP/AR, bank, accruals, prepayments)
- Ensure statutory financials per local GAAP for each country in scope
- Prepare consolidated accounts per IFRS with full compliance
- Prepare data for VAT, CIT, WHT; liaise with corporate tax, external advisors, and authorities
- Act as primary audit liaison and manage the full audit cycle
- Develop, implement, and enhance internal controls and local accounting policies
- Drive process optimization and collaborate with Treasury, Controlling, Corporate Finance, FP&A and business stakeholdersResponsabilidades
- University degree
- ACCA or equivalent
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Experience leading teams
- International environment experience
- Advanced Excel
- English fluency
- Experience in Financial services sector is advantageousRequisitos principales
