Por favor, asegúrese de consultar la descripción a continuación con atención.Well known for their works within the sailing superyacht space, their products are fitted to vessels globally and are responsible for a huge number of race winning craft. With the performance and large sailing yacht space continuing to grow they are now looking to bring a design engineer into the team to work across the engineering of a host of production and custom projects.Reporting to the head of engineering the role will include the following duties:- Provision of technical support and design collateral for both new build, service and aftersales projects- Design and engineering of a host of composite rigging solutions- Testing and analysis of products for manufacture, aftersales and warranty matters- Producing design amendments and changes to improve product performance and response- Acting as a central point of contact for all technical and composite engineering mattersIn a candidate we seek a degree qualified engineer or naval architect with a strong interest and experience in composites. Offering 2+ years of experience in composite design and engineering you'll be well versed across a host of composite layup procedures and how to design and engineer predominantly in carbon fibre. CAD skills in Solidworks and Autocad are essential as is expertise in working with FEA analysis on maritime projects. Alongside your theoretical skills, an understanding of NDT would also be advantageousOn offer is long term permanent employment and a chance to work closely with a well known brand with exciting projects.
