The Role and CandidateWe are seeking a Country/Cluster Merchandiser - Southern Europe (Spain Market) to play a pivotal role in representing countrylevel product and assortment requirements.
Key responsibilities include:Developing and owning countrylevel forecasts, product ranging, and replenishment to storesOptimising POP MART's inventory management and actively maintaining high stock accuracyOverseeing lastmile deliveries (from warehouse to stores) across the Spanish marketManaging merchandise transfers and maintaining internal order management systemsConducting data analysis to support efficient retail operationsWorking crossfunctionally to maintain stock accuracy and ensure alignment across departments
This position will focus on the Spain market and reports directly to the Head of Country Cluster Merchandising .
More ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain SKUlevel monthly rolling demand forecasts to support accurate replenishment and sales planningDefine and allocate appropriate assortments from RDC/LDC to local stores based on sales trends and store requirementsManage the local product launch calendar in coordination with internal teams, ensuring timely executionOversee merchandise transfers and daily operations between stores and warehousesMaintain internal data and ordering systems to ensure accuracy and efficiencyWork crossfunctionally with retail, logistics, visual merchandising, and the regional head office to ensure smooth operations and stock accuracyParticipate in quarterly and annual inventory counts, ensuring effective stock managementConduct data analysis and provide regular reports and summaries to support decisionmakingHandle operational emergencies and adhoc tasks, resolving issues quickly and effectively, particularly those related to lastmile deliveriesCollaborate with internal teams to ensure timely xiphteb delivery of projects and tasksUndertake other responsibilities as required according to project needs
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related fieldCommercially driven, with the ability to manage largescale business planning and crossfunctional collaborationMinimum of 3–5 years' relevant work experienceProficiency in the MS Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and data analysis toolsFluency in English and ideally Spanish, both spoken and writtenStrong sense of ownership of responsibilities, with the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and propose optimisation initiatives where appropriateExcellent multitasking skills, with the ability to stay on top of multiple priorities and deliver on timeDetailoriented, with the ability to solve problems quickly and handle operational emergencies effectivelyHighly selfmotivated, with the ability to work independently when required
Desirable but Not EssentialExperience in the toy industry or retail sectorFamiliarity with the Western European retail landscape and logistics operationsExperience with inventory and order management software or ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
