Experteer Overview
As a Credit Risk Analyst in the Credit Product Centre (CPC) in Madrid, you will blend fundamental credit analysis with commercial insight to influence underwriting decisions across geographies and sectors. You’ll support trade finance and portfolio monitoring while driving efficiency through AI, data and technology. You will work with underwriting, risk management and actuarial teams to deliver high-quality credit views and contribute to risk analytics and portfolio insights. This role offers global exposure, cross-functional collaboration and a chance to shape credit processes at a leading reinsurer.

• Conduct in-depth credit analysis and internal rating assessments for corporate obligors across industries and regions
• Evaluate financing structures and transaction risks; provide actionable recommendations to underwriters
• Set credit limits aligned with risk appetite, policies, and governance
• Identify risk drivers, mitigants and early warning signals
• Monitor exposures; assess market/sector/company developments and their impact
• Spot deteriorating risks and propose watchlist actions or mitigations
• Contribute to portfolio insights including sector trends and concentration risks
• Collaborate with underwriting, risk management and actuarial teams globally; communicate credit views effectively
• Improve credit processes to reduce turnaround times and standardize outputs
• Support AI-enabled transformation initiatives and the enhancement of credit tools and frameworks
Responsabilidades
• 6-10 years of credit analysis experience
• Business degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
• Proficiency in financial spreading and projections; handling credit applications
• Strong knowledge of global macroeconomics, financial markets and credit products
• Strong quantitative/analytical skills; fluent in English and Spanish and/or German and/or French
