As Credit Strategy Leader:
Main activities will be:
To manage credit policy for auto/HE/Short channel activities by reviewing, analyzing and doing the follow-up of portfolios quality and risk evolution.
Early risk indicators follow-up and quick reactions to comply with targets
Acceptance metrics follow-up to bring the best support to business by optimizing approval and time to decision
To be ready with monthly preparation of local and group credit committees
Leadership of team encouraging them to comply with high standards being a facilitator more than controller
Communication with other company areas to collaborate and understand business, operative, finance and compliance needs.
Managing credit reporting and credit analytics to improve automatic decision-making
Managing Fraud prevention team to bring anticipation and prevention under any credit type of fraud
Define and implement credit policies and risk acceptance strategies;
Lead and develop a high-performing credit risk team;
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements in Spain and in the Group CAPFM
Apply analytical techniques and statistical models to support credit decisions;
Monitor portfolio performance and adjust credit strategies accordingly;
Acceptance metrics follow-up, supporting the business by optimizing approval and time to decision;
Profile
Proven experience in consumer credit within the Spanish market;
Deep knowledge of auto, personal, home equipment loans, Revolving;
Strong command of analytics
Knowledge of acceptance and credit risk kpis
Excellent leadership skills, strategic mindset, communication and results orientation.
Analytical and technical acumen
Understanding of risk management metrics
Ability to define risk limits to balance growth with profitability
