We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers.The Customer Master Data Supervisor leads a team of specialists to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of customer records—from initial setup and credit checks to data cleansing and archiving. This role balances day-to-day operational oversight with strategic data governance, ensuring that all data entries comply with global standards, legal tax requirements, and internal audit protocols.Responsibilities Team Leadership & OperationsWorkload Coordination: Distribute and supervise the daily tasks of the CDM team to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for record creation and updates are met. Performance Management: Set clear KPIs for team members, provide regular coaching, and conduct annual performance reviews. Establishes, maintain and execute on business controls and processes.Escalation Point: Act as the first point of contact for complex data issues or disputes between departments (e.G., Sales vs. Finance). Provide leadership to the team, helping in defining yearly priorities and ongoing project related to Customer Data Mgmt Data Quality & GovernanceIntegrity Oversight: Monitor data for completeness, accuracy, and uniqueness (preventing duplicate customer profiles). Standardization: Develop and enforce global naming conventions, address formats, and tax documentation requirements. Data Cleansing: Lead periodic maintenance projects to keep data accurate (e.G. dormancy, fake, etc…) Compliance & AuditSOX/Internal Controls: Ensure all data changes have proper documentation and approval workflows to meet Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) or local compliance standards. Tax & Legal Validation: Verify tax IDs (VAT/GST) and ensure customers are not on restricted or "denied party" lists for international trade. Process ImprovementAutomation: Identify opportunities to use AI or other tools/processes to speed up data entry and validation.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure data structures support new business initiatives or software rollouts. QualificationsERP Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Oracle, SalesForce, SAP or similar systemsData Tools: High proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and data visualization tools like Power BI, Reporting Tools or Tableau. Process Knowledge: Good understanding of the Quote-to-Cash processes and attention to detail.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or Data Management.Experience: 5+ years in Master Data Management or Contact CenterStrong business acumen, with the ability to translate customer/stakeholders needs, market dynamics, and strategy into effective processes, solutions and decisions.Networking: The ability to influence stakeholders in different countries or departments.
