Delivery Lead (Contract / Interim Cover)We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to step into a key interim role, ensuring continuity, structure, and delivery excellence across multiple teams during a period of leave cover.This is a high-impact position where you’ll act as a central coordination point across Delivery, PMO, People, and senior leadership, driving alignment, maintaining standards, and keeping delivery on track.The RoleYou’ll be responsible for maintaining strong delivery discipline across squads, ensuring consistent execution, and acting as the bridge between operational teams and senior stakeholders.This role requires someone highly organised, proactive, and confident working across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery OversightEnsure consistent execution across Delivery Leads, including planning, estimation, tracking, and governanceDrive accountability and maintain high delivery standards across teamsSupport escalation and resolution of risks, blockers, and dependenciesStakeholder AlignmentAct as a key interface between senior leadership and delivery teamsCommunicate strategic updates, priorities, and changes clearly across teamsEscalate critical issues and ensure alignment at all levelsPMO and GovernanceEnsure adherence to reporting cadence, planning standards, and governance frameworksAlign delivery practices with PMO expectationsIdentify and resolve gaps between process and executionResource and Hiring CoordinationMaintain visibility of hiring pipelines, onboarding, and team changesEnsure hiring decisions align with strategic priorities and budgetsCoordinate across stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and team transitionsOperational SupportSupport day-to-day operational needs within the delivery environmentHelp maintain a productive, well-functioning team setupEscalate operational or structural issues where neededDelivery ExcellencePromote strong delivery culture with ownership, transparency, and accountabilityEnsure effective use of tools such as Jira and strong data practicesMaintain predictable delivery through structured planning and trackingWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience as a Delivery Lead, Senior Scrum Master, or similarStrong experience working across multiple squads and senior stakeholdersDeep understanding of delivery governance, Agile practices, and tools such as JiraExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate with structure while navigating ambiguityExperience supporting recruitment, onboarding, or team scaling is beneficial
