Experteer Overview As a Director/Associate Director in Cost Management, you will lead a cost management team on major data centre projects in Spain, shaping cost strategies and client outcomes. You will guide interfaces with clients and consultants across project stages, delivering estimates, cost plans and reports. You’ll manage procurement, post-contract variances, change control and payment recommendations to protect value. You work closely with cross-functional teams to drive value engineering, life-cycle costing and cashflow awareness. This is a leadership role at the forefront of data centre delivery, offering high-impact, strategic commissions and client-facing leadership.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Lead Cost Management team to deliver accountabilities
- Interface with client, stakeholders, and consultants across project stages
- Prepare and present cost estimates and cost plans
- Manage procurement processes including pre-qualification, tender lists, tender analysis, tender reports, and contracts
- Handle post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- Oversee cost checks, valuation processes, and payment recommendations
- Produce timely monthly cost reports and present to clientResponsabilidades
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years' cost management experience
- Broad experience across planning, estimating, pre-contract/post-contract and final account
- Experience in Data Centre sector
- Experience advising on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing
- Understanding of cost elements (labour, plant, materials), cashflow and project costs
- Experience with business development aspects
- Strong organization, multi-tasking and teamwork skills
- English required; Spanish preferred
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written and communication skills
