As Director of Technology you will lead the engineering division responsible for delivering customer programmes on time, at scale, and to the highest technical standards. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide direct leadership to the mechanical, electrical and systems engineering teams, ensuring they work cohesively on both customer and internal products. /li liOwn the performance of the engineering organisation, guiding and developing team members to achieve the best outcomes for the company and its clients. /li liPromote a culture of ownership, excellence and customer obsession throughout the team, collaborating with managers to extend this culture company‑wide. /li liDrive integration of RD efforts for internal product development, aligning with BOLD’s mission to pioneer technologies that enhance energy efficiency, safety and performance. /li liCollaborate with the executive team to execute the product strategy and align organisational capabilities with development plans that realise the vision. /li liServe as the primary technical liaison to customers and key stakeholders, maintaining regular contact and representing BOLD’s engineering organisation while guiding the team to deliver projects successfully. /li liManage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, on budget and in line with BOLD’s vision. /li liWork closely with the Supply Chain Liaison and Manager to ensure new product developments are scalable and that operations have the information required to execute manufacturing as expected. /li liStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and competitive developments to ensure BOLD products are safe, reliable and certified to the appropriate standards. /li liFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging experimentation and exploration of new ideas that advance BOLD’s vision with lower risk and higher safety and reliability. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum of 15 years of experience in senior or leadership roles within motorsport, defence or highly innovative sectors, with significant exposure to battery technologies. /li liProven track record of successfully bringing high‑performance products from concept to market, aligning with BOLD’s vision and mission. /li liAbility to travel as required. /li liExperience and competence with design software such as 3Dx or NX. /li liWillingness to work long hours and occasional weekends to support critical project milestones. /li liStrong leadership skills and proactive attitude in a high‑pressure environment. /li liUp‑to‑date technical awareness of business requirements. /li liFluent in English. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liHighly technical in engineering and manufacturing, able to quickly grasp issues and lead the team to solve problems to meet customer and internal project needs. /li liDeep expertise in battery technology and engineering fundamentals, including structure, manufacturing, HV control systems and electronics. /li liCapable of overcoming technical or project challenges when information is limited, maintaining safety, quality, output and efficiency targets. /li liSelf‑driven with a high sense of ownership and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks with minimal leadership feedback. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pBold Valuable Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
