Delivery Lead is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of delivery commitments across multiple squads within the End‑to‑End Digital Customer Relationships organization. This role plays a central part in planning, coordinating, and delivering product and technical outcomes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and cross‑cluster dependencies.
Reporting directly to the Delivery Manager, the Delivery Lead leads the operational execution of multiple agile teams, partnering closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Architects, and other Delivery Leads to ensure the consistency and quality of deliverables. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and coordination capabilities to secure on‑time and high‑quality delivery within an agile‑at‑scale environment.
Delivery Ownership & Planning
Own the end‑to‑end delivery roadmap for the squads under your responsibility.
Lead and coordinate PI Planning preparation and execution, ensuring teams are ready with capacity, refined backlog, and clear objectives.
Translate business priorities into delivery plans aligned with product vision and technical constraints.
Monitor execution during the Program Increment, ensuring alignment on scope, dependencies, risks, and milestones.
Ensure delivery commitments are met with quality, transparency, and predictability.
Cross‑Cluster & Cross‑Team Coordination
Collaborate closely with other Delivery Leads, Tech Leads, Product Owners, and Architects to identify and manage inter‑team and inter‑cluster dependencies.
Facilitate alignment on cross‑cutting initiatives, ensuring consistent communication and effective prioritization across squads.
Actively participate in RAID processes to avoid blockers and maintain delivery flow.
Act as the main escalation point for dependencies impacting the squads’ ability to deliver.
Team Leadership & Ways of Working
Lead and oversee multiple squads and their Scrum Masters, fostering high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure agile best practices are followed, promoting transparency, collaboration, and ownership within the teams.
Support the Scrum Master in removing impediments, improving ceremonies, and enforcing agile discipline.
Promote a culture of psychological safety, technical excellence, and high operational standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Partner with Product Owners to align business priorities with technical capacity and delivery timelines.
Provide clear visibility of delivery progress, KPIs, risks, and mitigation actions to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure documentation, communication, and delivery practices are aligned with organizational governance.
Represent squads in cluster or program‑level ceremonies and leadership reviews.
Required
Proven experience in Agile delivery leadership (Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple squads, including cross‑team coordination and complex delivery environments.
Strong understanding of delivery planning, PI planning, and dependency management in scaled agile organizations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and conflict‑resolution skills.
Capacity to drive outcomes, manage risks proactively, and keep teams focused on priorities.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on delivery oversight.
Nice to Have
Experience in enterprise or digital transformation environments.
Knowledge of common engineering practices, CI/CD, cloud‑native applications, or platform‑based delivery.
Familiarity with SAFe or similar scaled agile frameworks (certifications are a plus).
Experience working with distributed, multi‑disciplinary teams.
Travel Requirements
2 times per week in the office.
