At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city’s newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for a detail‑oriented, reliable, and service‑driven Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Bar Sofia team on a full‑time basis.

What You Will Do
As Food & Beverage Supervisor – Bar Sofia, you will support the Bar Manager in the daily operation of the outlet, ensuring exceptional service standards, team engagement, and memorable guest experiences.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead by example, demonstrating a positive, professional, and service‑oriented attitude at all times
Organize and conduct pre‑shift briefings and departmental meetings, clearly communicating operational updates and service expectations
Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring consistent service quality and brand standards
Monitor product quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction, taking immediate action when needed
Drive team engagement, motivation, and performance through coaching and feedback
Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and development
Coordinate and support special events, promotions, and high‑profile functions within the bar and hotel
Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally and efficiently
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably within Food & Beverage or hospitality
Previous supervisory experience is an advantage
Excellent personal presentation with a proactive and guest‑focused service attitude
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and professionally during peak and high‑pressure operations
Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
Conversational, written, and reading English and Spanish skills
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required in hotel operations
