Overview Field Application Specialist for Catalonia & Balearic Islands. This role supports Beckman Coulter Diagnostics customers by installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. The Field Application Specialist will be based in Barcelona, supporting customers and impacting patient health and overall well-being. You will be part of the Customer Care Dx Organisation and report to the Field Application (Customer Care) Manager. You will provide frontline technical and scientific support by resolving customer problems, training customers, and ensuring operational performance and data quality of systems. You will help drive revenue growth while maintaining strong customer contract retention and warranty conversion. The role requires independent, territory-based work while collaborating with the broader team to share methodologies and provide expert support. The position is classified as remote-friendly, with a company car, mobile phone, and laptop; travel within the region and overnight stays as needed are required. Responsibilities Provide excellent professional support and training to Beckman Coulter’s customers Travel in the region as required, experiencing various locations where our instrumentation is utilized Maintain customer support logs and internal records, resolve issues to deliver a high-quality customer experience Develop commercial awareness through cross-functional support of the business to increase growth opportunities Demonstrate pioneering innovation solutions and new products to customers Develop knowledge of the industry, company, products, tools, and the team; participate in a clear development pathway to grow our teams Be supported by a strong leadership team and participate in key projects to deliver successful installations that meet customer and company requirements Requirements University scientific degree and experience in a clinical laboratory Fluent in Spanish and English; other languages valued Current valid driver’s license and good driving record; consider policies for Beckman Coulter vehicles Flexible hours as per business needs Travel to the assigned geography and periodic travel to other areas with overnight stays Interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled Additional information Beckman Coulter Diagnostics supports flexible, remote working arrangements for eligible roles.
