Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, following check‑lists for each model.
Record and report breakdowns, identifying deficiencies and notifying clients, either scheduling direct repair or approving a repair proposal.
Supply spare parts, identifying replacement needs and managing inventory.
Conduct safety tests on machines in accordance with legal and technical specifications.
Build new machines, launch them and hand them over to clients.
Prepare repair quotes and spare‑parts budgets following organizational guidelines.
Provide technical and commercial advice to clients, addressing technical matters and recommending necessary repairs.
Proactively identify sales opportunities for services, spare parts, new machines and upgrades, informing the client and the assigned Sales or Regional Manager.
Create technical assistance reports (BM) following organizational directives: daily transmission, client signature, service type coding, and identification of used spare parts.
Use and care for technical equipment and assigned materials (workshop vehicle, notebook, phone, tools, spare‑parts inventory).
Requirements & Qualifications
Medium or higher vocational training (Mechatronics or similar) or equivalent experience as a maintenance technician with at least one year in the sector.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Training in Labor Risk Prevention for metal (20 hours in person).
Basic or intermediate English.
