Field Technician – Tires as a Service
Location: Spain
Why this role is important
As a Field Technician in Installation, you play a key role in delivering a seamless Tires as a Service (TaaS) experience to our customers. You ensure each hardware installation is completed with precision, care, and quality, contributing to fleet safety, performance, and long‑term reliability. Your work directly impacts customer confidence, operational excellence, and the success of our service offering.
What you will do
Install TaaS hardware on customer vehicles in accordance with installation standards and deadlines
Prepare, configure, and test the hardware before installation
Diagnose failures, perform maintenance, and carry out in‑situ repairs as needed
Coordinate installation schedules with fleet managers, workshops, and specialized technicians (e.g., ADR‑certified electricians)
Support and guide external service providers during subcontracted installations
Manage receipt, quality control, storage, and inventory tracking of hardware equipment
Ensure accurate record‑keeping of hardware, documentation, and replenishment planning
What you bring
Secondary education diploma (engineering or related field background is valued)
More than 3 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical installation or repair
Hands‑on experience with tractor‑trailers, telematics, or tire systems
Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
Collaborative mindset and good communication skills
Basic computer knowledge and comfort with digital tools
Proficiency in the local language and English, with willingness to travel 4 to 7 days per week
