I am partnering with a leading chemical manufacturing company specializing in protective coatings, known for supplying paints that safeguard ships, infrastructure, and industrial equipment from corrosion and harsh environments. We are seeking a talented Global Sourcing Manager to join the dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Procurement: Oversee and manage the procurement of raw materials essential for production processes.
Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of raw materials.
Spend Analysis: Analyze purchasing data related to raw materials to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies specific to raw materials that align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations for raw materials.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and pricing for raw materials to make informed sourcing decisions.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement or sourcing of raw materials within the chemical industry.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier contracts for raw materials.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
