Aderis is building the next generation of enterprise software: an AI-native Finance ERP system designed from the ground up to leverage the power of artificial intelligence. We're not retrofitting AI into legacy systems — we're reimagining what enterprise software can be when AI is at its core. We’re already live with our first customers and and recently secured the funding to scale! This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving team at a pivotal moment, shaping the product, the technology stack, and the future of enterprise AI. The Role You’ll be the founding leader of our Barcelona site and the person who builds Customer Success at Aderis from the ground up. This is a dual mandate: design and scale how we onboard, retain, and grow our customers, while standing up and leading a new location. You’ll start hands‑on — owning key accounts yourself — and grow into a leader managing CSMs and technical consultants. This role sits at the intersection of finance expertise, customer relationships, and operational leadership. Our customers are Swiss and German mid‑market companies; their CFOs and finance teams need a partner who genuinely understands their world. What you’ll do Build the Customer Success function end to end — playbooks, onboarding flows, health metrics, retention and expansion motions. Establish and lead the Barcelona office: hiring, culture, local operations, and day‑to‑day site leadership. Own a portfolio of strategic accounts personally, especially in the early phase, acting as a trusted finance and process advisor to customer CFOs and finance leads. Lead complex customer implementations alongside technical consultants, translating finance requirements into platform configuration. Define and track the metrics that matter: net revenue retention, time‑to‑value, adoption, and customer health. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to feed customer insight back into the roadmap. Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of Customer Success Managers and Technical Consultants. What we’re looking for Strong finance background. A Swiss or German Steuerberater, Wirtschaftsprüfer, CPA, or equivalent qualification is a significant advantage. Proven experience building a Customer Success function from scratch in an international environment. Professional proficiency in German and English (both required; German is essential given our current customer base). Deep familiarity with finance processes, accounting, and ideally ERP systems. Demonstrated leadership: you’ve hired, built, and led teams. Comfort operating in an early‑stage, high‑ownership environment where you define the playbook rather than inherit it. Willingness to be based in Barcelona and to travel to customers and HQ as needed. Nice to have Experience with Swiss/DACH finance, tax, or payroll compliance (MWST, GoBD, Quellensteuer).
