The Role : Head of Finance, accountable for the global finance function and the financial engine of a multi-jurisdictional SaaS business. You will partner with the CEO/Founder to drive rigorous modeling, real-time data, and deep business understanding. This role can be based in either London or Barcelona. What You Will Do Strategic Financial Planning and Modeling: Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain a rolling long-range forecast; own the financial roadmap to ensure runway and resources to hit growth targets. International Operations and Compliance: Manage financial operations for UK, US, and EEA entities, including transfer pricing, international tax compliance, and multi-currency reporting. Company Metrics and Analytics: Own key metrics and translate data into actionable insights for leadership. Fundraising and Investor Relations: Assist Founders in future funding rounds with data rooms, due diligence, and transparent communication with the current cap table. Financial Governance and Reporting: Lead board packs and investor reporting with a clear, accurate financial narrative aligned to strategic goals. Operations and Compliance: Maintain an audit-ready global finance function with month-end close, reconciliations, annual accounts, audit requests, going-concern documentation, and strategic reports. Business Intelligence: Build and own the internal KPI engine, translating SaaS and payment metrics into actionable insights for the founders. Risk and Credit Strategy: Define and oversee the credit underwriting framework to support sustainable growth. Requirements Who You Are We are looking for a high-performance finance leader with 8+ years’ experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or fintech environment. You are curious, have a network of SaaS/fintech finance leaders, and can move from strategic to granular detail seamlessly.
