Scope & Impact
Lead the people strategy for our international business outside of the U.S., ensuring it supports continued growth and aligns with global HR priorities.
Build and scale the International People function, including evolving the HR organizational structure and developing the regional HRBP team.
Partner with senior leaders to design the organizational structure, workforce plan, and talent strategy needed to support significant business expansion.
Serve as the senior HR advisor on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience across the region.
Partner with leaders to thoughtfully integrate AI-enabled technologies and evolving ways of working into organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the senior HR partner to leaders across international religions outside of the U.S., advising on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and team performance.
Translate business priorities into scalable people strategies that support organizational growth.
Lead, grow, and leverage the HRBP team to deliver strategic partnership and consistent, high-quality HR support across regions.
Coach leaders on performance management, leadership development, and building high-performing teams.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract top European talent and strengthen employer branding and hiring practices.
Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture across European and U.S. teams using employee feedback and engagement insights.
Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations and HR compliance, ensuring alignment with EU labor laws, GDPR, and local regulations.
Collaborate closely with the U.S. People team to deliver consistent, scalable people programs that support international growth and global initiatives.
Lead and support organizational transformation initiatives tied to international expansion, workforce evolution, and business growth.
Partner with business leaders to assess the organizational and talent implications of AI adoption, including workforce capability, change readiness, leadership effectiveness, and evolving skill needs.
Champion modern, data-informed, and technology-enabled HR practices that improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner leadership.
Demonstrated ability to build AI fluency and leverage emerging technologies to strengthen People team effectiveness, improve scalability and decision-making, and modernize HR practices.
Experience supporting leaders in high-growth or scaling organizations, or transforming organizations, ideally in the tech industry.
Strong knowledge of Spain and UK labor laws and employee relations practices.
Experience building or scaling HR teams and organizational structures.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and translate business strategy into people initiatives.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across cultures and geographies.
Fluent in English and Spanish.

Compensation
In the greater Barcelona area the first-year salary range is €96,623 - €123,677 with a 15% bonus. Additionally, Rover offers a long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout and benefits to full-time employees.
The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
