Company Description Upify is a telecom-grade digital services platform focused on carrier billing, multi-market distribution and subscription monetisation.We currently work with 28 operators and reach more than 200M users per year, with a solid and consistent EBITDA performance. After consolidating this base, we are now moving into a new growth phase: expanding our revenue streams, launching new digital verticals and structuring the right partnerships to scale further. To support this next stage, we are looking for a Head of New Business Development & Corporate Development (AI/Telco) who can help us turn new opportunities into real, executable business. Role Description We are looking for a senior business builder to join Upify at a pivotal stage of growth. This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to the CEO, focused on identifying real opportunities, structuring them properly and turning them into executable business. The role combines new revenue development, strategic partnerships and selective corporate development initiatives. The expectation is simple: move fast, validate quickly and convert into pilots or agreements. We need someone comfortable working across commercial and technical discussions, who can take an idea from early assessment to launch with clarity and discipline. Responsibilities Identify and execute new revenue opportunities that make sense within Upify's telco distribution model. Take ownership of new initiatives from initial assessment through to pilot launch and first commercial validation. Lead partnership and distribution discussions with technology platforms and potential strategic partners. Build and prioritise a focused corporate development pipeline aligned with Upify's long-term growth plans. Tasks stemming from responsibilities Build and prioritise a pipeline of new digital services that can be packaged and distributed through telco channels. Assess partner platforms from both a technical and commercial perspective, including integration feasibility and operational impact. Define clear commercial models for telco distribution, including pricing structure, revenue share and cost-to-serve logic. Lead negotiations for pilots, distribution agreements and partnership frameworks. Prepare concise investment or partnership briefs for executive review, covering strategic fit, economics and key risks. Coordinate lightweight pilots or MVP definitions with internal and external technical teams when needed. Qualifications University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or a related field. An MBA or prior exposure to corporate development, venture building or strategic roles is valued but not essential. 5–8 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships or corporate development, ideally in international environments. Experience working with telcos, regulated industries or B2B2C distribution models. Comfort reviewing technical documentation and discussing integration feasibility with technical teams. Track record of launching new products, services or business lines from early stage to market. Experience negotiating distribution agreements, partnership frameworks or joint ventures. Strong commercial and analytical mindset, including pricing logic, unit economics and ROI evaluation. Exposure to startup evaluation or investment processes is a plus. Fluent English required. Spanish expected. Additional European languages are valued. Willingness to travel and operate in a hybrid international setup. We offer Strong fixed compensation with meaningful performance upside.
