Responsibilities
Lead and manage three production departments, ensuring full achievement of cost, quality, safety and sustainability targets.
Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the assigned production areas, applying Lean principles and best operational practices.
Ensure strict compliance with all safety, environmental and quality standards, promoting a strong safety culture within the teams.
Coordinate and co‑lead projects within the scope of the production areas, from planning to execution and follow‑up.
Manage all operations at factory level to ensure efficient production and high quality products.
Deliver against plant performance KPIs, budget and projects.
Set up and execute development plans for plant personnel.
Ensure operations processes and solutions are implemented according to global procedures and local regulations.
Work physically on site in Montornès, maintaining direct presence on the shop floor and close interaction with the production teams.
Qualifications
Industrial, Chemical, or similar Engineering degree.
Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Minimum 4 years of production experience leading teams in an industrial environment, mainly in automotive/chemical sector.
Strong chemical process knowledge.
Experience working in automated environments and solid understanding of Lean methodologies.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards, including workplace and process safety.
Understanding of sustainability principles applied to industrial operations.
Proven leadership skills, with a focus on team motivation, coaching, and team‑building practices.
Experience managing improvement or technical projects within production areas.
Willingness to travel across Europe (occasionally, e.g., 1x/month for a couple of days).
100% presence in a production plant in Montornès del Vallès, direct availability in Spain.
