As our first Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial services across Europe (Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, and others coming soon!). Establish weekly and monthly operational rituals, conducting meaningful 1‑on‑1s focused on motivation, career growth, and tactical problem‑solving. /liliProcess Architecture: Shift the team away from individual heroics. Implement "Controllable Execution KPIs" to ensure 80%+ of the team predictably hits their targets, standardizing pipeline tracking and documentation so future hiring scales effortlessly. /liliOn‑the‑Ground Execution: Stay closely connected to the field. Actively jump into enterprise "war rooms" and sit in on high‑stakes deals to navigate pricing complexities, multi‑stakeholder friction, and legal hurdles alongside your reps. /liliCross‑Functional Strategy: Act as the vital bridge between the sales floor, RevOps, Marketing, and the CEO. Collaborate tightly with marketing to optimize the inbound/event funnel and work with our Account Managers, Sales Engineers and the rest of the GTM team to optimize our cycles. /liliTerritory Cleanup: Masterfully manage deal distribution and focus. Help reps strip away bloated prospecting lists to focus on a laser‑sharp targeted enterprise accounts. /li /ulh3What You’ll Need /h3ulliProven B2B Enterprise SaaS Experience: 5+ years of experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder mid‑market and enterprise B2B SaaS cycles (preferably selling into financial institutions, fintechs, or highly regulated environments). /liliThe "Builder" Track Record: Senior AE with a history of mentoring, onboarding, and lifting peers; or a Junior Sales Manager (1–2 years leadership experience); or a Sales Manager/Head/VP at a young scale‑up who has built or scaled an early‑stage sales unit from scratch. /liliPeople‑First Management Style: Exceptional emotional intelligence and a horizontal leadership mindset. Drive performance through empowerment and alignment, not micro‑management. /liliLinguistic Versatility: Native or near‑native proficiency in Spanish and an advanced, professional level of English (bonus for French, Italian, or Portuguese). /liliData Literacy: Deep familiarity with HubSpot, clear forecasting, and automated pipeline hygiene.
