Overview Join to apply for the Head of Sales - Germany role at Spendesk . As Head of Sales - Germany, you will be responsible for building and scaling our sales operations in the German market. You will lead the commercial strategy for Germany, building and managing a high-performing sales team while driving revenue growth and market penetration. This is a strategic leadership role that requires both hands-on execution and vision to establish Spendesk as the leading spend management solution for German businesses. You will work closely with our European leadership team and cross-functional partners in marketing, partnerships, and customer success to achieve ambitious growth targets. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Germany, building quarterly business plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration Team Building & Management: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team Revenue Ownership: Take full accountability for financial performance in Germany, including pipeline generation, conversion rates, deal velocity, and revenue targets Market Development: Build deep market knowledge of the German Mid-Market landscape, competitive positioning, and customer needs to inform product and marketing strategies Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure coordinated market entry and growth Sales Operations: Implement and optimize sales processes, methodologies, and enablement programs tailored to the German market Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with key prospects, customers, and industry partners while representing Spendesk at industry events and conferences Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team development initiatives to ensure consistent achievement of targets Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate revenue forecasting and detailed performance reporting to European leadership What We're Looking For Language Skills: Native level German and fluent in written and spoken English Sales Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of sales management experience in B2B SaaS, with proven track record of building and scaling sales teams Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the German business landscape, particularly Mid-market segment employees), with existing network preferred Revenue Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets Team Management: Experience recruiting, developing, and managing sales professionals with strong coaching and enablement capabilities Fintech/Payments Experience: Background in financial technology, payments, or spend management solutions highly preferred Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven approach with experience using sales analytics, CRM systems, and performance dashboards Communication Excellence: Outstanding presentation and communication skills for both internal leadership and external customer/partner interactions Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, fast-paced environment, and building something from the ground up As we are an international team, please submit your application and CV in English.
