About the Company An international K12 education group is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic individual to assume the role of Headmaster / Headmistress for one of our institutions located in Pontevedra. The Headmaster / Headmistress will lead the development and deployment of staff, curriculum standards, teaching and learning, management, and efficiency, according to the following functions : Education Motivate all members of the school community, following the school’s mission and principles. Ensure the academic, personal, social, emotional, and physical welfare of all students. Ensure that all members of the school community are treated respectfully by everyone, demonstrating an appreciation and integration of different nationalities and cultures. Maintain and continuously enhance the quality of education we provide, built upon the full IB continuum framework. Management Ensure the school’s future success through effective management by running the school in an organised and efficient way. Ensure that structures and systems put in place are optimal, effective (teaching, learning, HR, admin, new admissions, marketing, finance, maintenance, and services) and are effective and as straightforward as they can be. Manage the school’s budget. Devise and implement a short, medium and long term strategic development plan in conjunction with the central team. Ensure effective communication and relationship building with students through school assemblies, individual meetings, tutorials, newsletters, digital platforms and with alumni through appropriate channels, events and activities. Qualifications A recognised teaching qualification in English National Curriculum A proven track record in senior educational leadership and strategic planning on British Schools Native / Proficient level of English and Spanish Qualification in school leadership Masters degree in educational management Experience in international school settings School inspectorate experience The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. #J-18808-Ljbffr
