We are Applus+ Laboratories, the division of the Applus+ Group that provides testing, certification, and product development engineering services. Currently we are growing and seeking an experienced Health and Safety International Lead to join our team in Bellaterra (Barcelona).Maximice sus posibilidades de que su candidatura sea seleccionada asegurándose de que su CV y sus habilidades se ajustan al perfil.This role will be crucial in ensuring workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of health and safety across all our sites.Key responsibilities will include: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and initiatives that protect employees, contractors, and visitors while ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulationsCoordinate the implementation of those programs and actions in the different sites (mainly at an European level)Establish safety policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with regulatory requirementsDevelop and maintain emergency response plans and evacuation proceduresConduct thorough workplace risk assessments and hazard identification studiesDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies and control measuresLead comprehensive incident investigations including accidents, near-misses, and occupational illnessesDevelop and implement corrective and preventive action plansRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Master's degree in Occupational Safety and HealthMinimum 5 years of experience xohynlm in occupational safety and health engineering in the industrial sectorKnowledge of environmental health and safety regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProactive and dynamic attitude Proficient in English and SpanishAvailability to travel when requiredWe offer: Full-time permanent contractFlexible working hoursFlexible compensation plan (medical insurance, transportation, childcare and restaurants)Employees' parkingCanteen with reduced prices
