About the Role:
We are looking for a confident and hands‑on HR Manager to lead all HR activity across our Spanish operations in Anglesola and Burgos. This is a standalone leadership role, offering real ownership and the opportunity to shape how HR operates locally within a growing global business.
You will act as a trusted advisor to site leadership, balancing operational delivery with strategic input, while playing a key role in integrating the business into the wider Zotefoams Group.
This role will suit someone who is comfortable working autonomously, enjoys building structure and consistency, and thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Role Responsibilities:
HR Leadership & Employee Relations
Act as the primary HR lead for both sites, providing pragmatic and commercially focused HR support
Manage employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance cases
Ensure compliance with Spanish employment law and local HR practices
Support employee engagement and communication through periods of change
HR Operations
Own and deliver core HR processes including onboarding, contracts, probation and leavers
Maintain accurate HR records, reporting and data integrity
Partner with payroll and external providers where required
Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently
Talent & Organisational Support
Support local recruitment activity across hourly and salaried roles
Coordinate training and development initiatives
Support performance management and objective setting processes
Contribute to succession planning and workforce planning where needed
Integration & Change
Lead local HR integration into the Zotefoams Group
Align policies, processes and ways of working with global standards
Support implementation of HR systems and longer‑term process improvements
Build strong relationships with the wider global HR team
What you'll need:
Strong HR generalist experience at HR Manager level or a Senior HR Business Partner ready to step up
Solid understanding of Spanish employment law and employee relations
Experience within manufacturing, industrial or multi‑site environments
Proven ability to manage HR operations independently
Experience supporting change, transformation or integration projects
Fluent Spanish and professional English
