Inside Sales Team Manager – Travel Technology (Barcelona, Hybrid) Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid – 50% office attendance) Contract Type: Full-time Languages Required: German (C1/C2) + English (fluent) + Spanish (professional proficiency) Industry: IT Solutions for Business Compliance About the Role We are partnering with a global leader in travel technology to expand their commercial team in Barcelona, focusing on a critical business opportunity in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The company is at the forefront of digital transformation in the travel and compliance sector, and this role is key to driving growth through electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) mandates and other regulatory-driven IT solutions. As the Inside Sales Team Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of inside sales professionals, leveraging data-driven strategies to identify, qualify, and convert leads into long-term clients. You will work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to optimize sales processes, improve conversion rates, and ensure seamless contract renewals. This is a strategic leadership role with a strong focus on team management, pipeline growth, and revenue generation in a fast-paced, international environment. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Management Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets. Assign leads based on language skills, expertise, and regional focus (with a strong emphasis on German-speaking markets). Conduct weekly/monthly performance reviews, providing coaching and actionable feedback to improve conversion rates. Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management Develop and execute quarterly sales plans, identifying high-potential customer segments using CRM data, pipeline analytics (Qlik, Salesforce), and market trends. Drive campaign-based sales initiatives (webinars, digital marketing, product adoption programs) and ensure leads are properly distributed and followed up. Monitor KPIs (lead conversion, contract renewals, revenue growth) and adjust strategies to maximize results. Stakeholder Collaboration & Process Optimization Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies with business objectives. Contribute to sales automation improvements, ensuring efficient lead generation, contract renewals, and CRM hygiene. Represent the inside sales team in cross-functional meetings, providing insights on customer needs and market opportunities. Commercial & Negotiation Skills Handle complex sales cycles, including contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and objection handling with senior stakeholders. Ensure accurate forecasting and revenue reporting while maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. What We’re Looking For Proven experience (5+ years) in inside sales, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role (managing 3+ reps). Fluency in German (C1/C2) is mandatory – you will be targeting German-speaking markets (DACH region). Strong commercial acumen – experience in B2B IT sales, SaaS, or compliance-driven solutions (e.g., e-invoicing, ERP, CRM) is a big plus. Data-driven mindset – proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and analytics platforms (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication & negotiation skills – ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and close deals in a virtual sales environment. Hybrid work flexibility – willingness to work 50% from the office in Barcelona Travel readiness – potential short-term assignments (e.g., 3-month transition phase in France or Germany for knowledge transfer).
