Reporting to: Investment Analysis Manager
Based in: Madrid, Spain
The selected professional will support and develop financial models and investment proposals for both national and international renewable energy projects.
What will you do?
Take ownership of all project financial models, from planning through execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate inputs and completeness of financial models.
Ensure profitability by accurately incorporating costs, taxes, and other financial factors.
Challenge assumptions, benchmark data, and identify contingencies to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities.
Provide strategic decision support by evaluating investment proposals and presenting insights to senior leadership.
What do we need?
Minimum 2 years of experience in financial modeling within a finance department in the renewable energy sector or a Big 4 firm.
Solid accounting knowledge, including expertise in cash flow statements.
Experience working on Project Finance transactions.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior experience in the renewable energy industry.
