Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Kafka Platform Lead to take ownership of our event streaming platform operations. You will be responsible for ensuring platform governance, scalability, performance, and security, while providing technical leadership across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the event streaming platform operationsDefine and enforce platform governance policiesLead architecture design, scaling, and resilience effortsOversee technical operations including performance tuning and securityMake operational and strategic decisions for the platformCollaborate with development and infrastructure teams on platform optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Deep expertise with Kafka and/or Confluent platformsExperience designing, scaling, and operating event-streaming platformsStrong understanding of cluster architecture, resilience, and performance tuningKnowledge of platform security best practicesAbility to lead platform governance and make operational decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading platform or engineering teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
