The Kitchen trainee will have the opportunity to discover and develop their culinary skills in a professional setting at Nobu Hotel Barcelona. The trainee will have a hands‑on learning experience in which they will participate in the production, distribution of food, and the organization / logistics in the kitchen. They will learn how products are chosen, working methods and menu planning. The trainee will work as a team member in a dynamic environment with high volume. They will rotate between different stations within the kitchen and learn all aspects of how to prepare the items presented on the menu. Essential Functions Prepare the mise and place. Grill meats, fish and vegetables. Prepare the sauces. Tempura seafood and vegetables. Support the kitchen team. Other Duties Learn and understand Nobu recipes. Learn how to prepare Nobu cuisine across various stations. Build relationships with the team to provide support across the kitchen. Supporting back of house operations. Learn how to cook on a grill. Develop culinary skills. Available to start in February / March - You must belong to a school with which we can manage your agreement. - Availability to do a full-time internship (40 hours per week) for a minimum of five / six months. - You must have documentation to be able to register in Spain.
