We are currently partnering with a leading international financial institution to hire an Associate into its highly regarded Technology M&A team in Madrid.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a fast-growing platform with strong deal flow across software, fintech, digital infrastructure, IT services, and broader technology verticals. The team advises corporates, founders, private equity investors, and strategic buyers on complex cross-border M&A transactions across Europe and Latin America.The successful candidate will join a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, working closely with senior bankers on the execution of high-profile transactions while taking on meaningful responsibility from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution of sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory mandates across the technology sectorBuild and review complex financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materialsPrepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing documentationCoordinate due diligence processes and manage interactions with clients, investors, and external advisersConduct sector research and analyse market trends within the technology ecosystemMentor and support junior analysts within the teamCandidate Profile3–6 years of experience within M&A, investment banking, or corporate financePrior exposure to technology transactions strongly preferredStrong financial modelling and valuation skillsetExcellent analytical and communication abilitiesFluency in both English and Spanish requiredDemonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, execution-focused environmentStrong academic background from a leading university or business schoolWhy Apply?Exposure to marquee international technology transactionsStrong visibility and responsibility within a lean team structureCollaborative and high-performance cultureExcellent long-term progression opportunities within a global banking platformMadrid-based role with significant cross-border exposure
