Mission: To act as a financial counterbalance to the business development units, guaranteeing that each acquisition or project complies with the standards of profitability, risk and strategic fit required by the board. Likewise, you will act as a senior reference for a technical team of financial analysts and modelers, elevating the technical quality and business vision of the area. RESPONSIBILITIES · Investment Framework: Define and apply Capital Allocation criteria to homogenize the comparison of projects in different geographies (Europe and USA) and business verticals. · Feasibility analysis : Validate financial viability in early stages and set minimum rates of return (Hurdle Rates) to filter the funnel of opportunities. · Leadership in M&A processes : Coordinate the life cycle of the transaction from the Non-Binding Offer (NBO) to the closing, leading the financial Due Diligence. · Risk management: Supervise that the operational and contractual risks detected are mitigated in the financial models and in the clauses of the contracts (SPA). · Technical mentorship: Lead the modeling team, supervising the preparation of Business Plans, cash flow projections and sensitivity analysis. · Transversal coordination: Dialogue with the Tax, Financing and Legal areas to ensure a solid financial integration of the new assets. REQUIREMENTS · Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering (MBA or postgraduate degree in finance will be valued). · Experience: Between 8 and 12 years in M&A, Transaction Services (Big 4) or Infrastructure/Energy Funds. A combination of consultancy and previous experience in a final client will be highly valued. · Track record: Proven experience in large-scale operations (tickets between €50M and €800M) and capital-intensive assets (CAPEX). · Languages: English level C1-C2 (real technical negotiation capacity). · Leadership: Previous experience in team management and mentoring skills. Skills · Expert command of financial modeling and Project Finance. · Ability to detect hidden financial risks in complex long-term contracts. · High capacity for empathy, strategic vision, collaborative character and excellent communication skills to report to C-Level.
