OverviewJob Description: An opportunity for Material Solutions: offers and new developments has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).ResponsibilitiesResearch and analyse spares planning and logistics data and convert findings into profitable contracts for Initial Provisioning, Customized Spares Logistics and Customized Lead-Time. Develop proposals for improvement of customers' processes and supply chain.Define and optimize Initial Provisioning (IPL) and Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL); calculate and consolidate the cost base; create the respective Bidding Dossiers; optimize/improve the available Material Data and prepare the documentation for the materials solution definition.Develop, through the technical knowledge of the A/C configuration systems, the necessary capabilities to create customized spare parts lists, according to the Customers’ and ADS’s requirements.Represent ADS in front of the Customer, at Initial Provisioning.Generate all the documentation that supports the Material Solution.Align all Materiel Services aspects with its Materiel Services performance and functions within Airbus, within the Partner Companies, Suppliers and Nations.Generate and continuously optimize/improve integrated, complete and accurate data and assumptions to be used for Spares Modelling.Skills / QualificationsEducation: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.Experience in similar roles.Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.Languages: Advanced level in English.BenefitsVacation days plus additional days-off along the year.Attractive salary.Collective transport service in some sites.On-site facilities (such as free canteen, kindergarten, medical office).Possibility to collaborate in different social and corporate social responsibility initiatives.Excellent upskilling opportunities and great development prospects in a multicultural environment.About AirbusAirbus is a leader in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers on a worldwide scale, pioneering sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world.
