The Widem Group is looking for Road Freight & Forwarding Operators for its Spanish branches in Algeciras (Cádiz) and Monesterio (Badajoz). Joining our dynamic operations team with the following main duties and responsibilities:
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Day-to-day running our own north- / southbound traffics between Morocco and U.K./Central Europa
Day-to-day running our forwarding activities (FTL/LTL/groupage services)
Liaising with drivers/suppliers/customers/other European branches
Controlling of driving and rest times of drivers
Fleet optimization and monitoring
Handling of transport orders / tracking shipments
Spot quoting / customer service
1 in 3 weekend on-call duty covered remotely / rotating shift system
Skills and Experience
Essential: Minimum of 1-2 years freight forwarding / transporter experience
Advanced level of English (minimum level B2, both written and spoken is essential). Very valuable to have a medium-high level in French.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
Highly organized, team player, deadline focused
Flexible, adaptable and quick to learn
Ability to work on own initiative
