Overview
As Operations Manager in our Barcelona Meat & Dairy plant, you will lead Production, Maintenance, Warehouse and Technical Services to drive safety, quality and cost performance. You will steer operational targets, continuous improvement programs and customer service excellence, reporting to the Plant General Manager. You’ll shape the site’s safety culture and manage a multi-functional team to deliver value across the supply chain. This role offers scope to influence cross-site practices and introduce new technologies.
ResponsabilidadesLead safety performance and drive health, safety and environment initiatives at the plantOversee production, maintenance and related operations to meet budgets and change programsSet goals and project plans for line managers focused on efficiency and continuityDefine and monitor KPIs to control process performance and qualityLead engineering and operations activities and promote continuous improvementCollaborate with SMT, HR and PGM on industrial relations and staffing decisionsPromote Amcor values and best-practice sharing across plantsSupport apprenticeship programs and training initiativesDrive cost reduction initiatives and assess new equipment opportunitiesEnsure high levels of customer service and product quality
Requisitos principalesMinimum 5 years of operations/manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environmentDegree in an associated subject preferredChange management experienceLean and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)Knowledge of production machines, process control, energy management, GMPs, SAP and shop floor systemsFamiliarity with safety and environmental regulations and basic finance conceptsStrong leadership and coaching abilitiesClear communication and teamworkProblem solving with a proactive mindsetLean and Six Sigma/continuous improvementGMPs, SAP and shop floor systemsEnergy management and process control equipment
