Package Quality Manager – Offshore Wind ProjectsSener is currently looking for a Package Quality Manager for Offshore Wind Projects to join our team at our work centers in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia or Bilbao.We are focused on engineering for the sustainability of industry and society. Therefore, we develop projects oriented towards achieving maximum efficiency in the transition towards a sustainable energy model, through innovation and technology. Furthermore, we are involved in the design, development and construction of power plants and their components, covering from the most conventional technologies such as combined cycle, biomass, etc. to new renewable and future technologies such as offshore wind, green hydrogen, management, circular economy and sustainability.ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership & CoordinationLead and coordinate all QA/QC activities for the assigned package, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, standards, and employer requirements.Identify and report inconsistencies or deviations in contractor or designer documentation.Provide guidance to project team members on quality‑related matters.Fabrication & Site Quality OversightOversee quality activities during fabrication, including inspections related to materials, welding, coating, and electrical works.Attend and validate Hold and Witness Points as defined in the approved ITPs.Coordinate with Site Quality Resources to ensure proper implementation of QC activities and compliance with approved procedures.Documentation & Quality PlanningReview and comment on contractor quality documentation (Quality Plans, ITPs, procedures, welding/coating documentation, etc.).Prepare and maintain project‑specific quality documents, including Project Quality Plan, Inspection Test Audit Plan, QA procedures, templates, and reporting tools.Ensure proper compilation, traceability, and timely delivery of Quality Dossiers for handover to O&M.Audits, Inspections & Non‑ConformitiesPlan and conduct system, process, and product audits of contractors and subcontractors.Manage NCRs, quality events, and corrective actions, ensuring proper registration, follow‑up, and closure.Implement a risk‑based quality approach aligned with Systems Engineering and FIDIC principles.Interface Management & Contractor CoordinationAct as the main quality interface with contractors, ensuring alignment on inspection planning, documentation, and dossier preparation.Coordinate inspection visits and ensure availability of required documentation and resources.Support the definition and implementation of the project Gate Model (milestones, deliverables, payment links).Site Quality Resource ManagementRequest and coordinate mobilization of Site Quality Resources, ensuring they are trained and familiar with project requirements.Monitor performance of site quality teams and ensure proper execution of inspections and reporting.Promote strong awareness of HSE‑Q practices at site.Reporting & Lessons LearnedProvide regular reporting on quality performance, issues, and risks to the Project Quality Manager and Work Package Manager.Capture and disseminate Lessons Learned, ensuring continuous improvement of quality processes.Travel & Coordination RequirementsRegular presence at fabrication sites is expected.Continuous coordination with Site Quality teams and Package Leads is required to ensure consistent quality oversight across all project phases.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC management within offshore wind construction or similar large‑scale industrial projects.Proven background in quality oversight for one or more of the following packages: Offshore Substation, Foundations, Export and Inter‑Array Cables.Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, including welding, NDT, coating, electrical systems, and factory testing.Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systems in EPC/FIDIC environments.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate contractors, and manage interfaces across multiple stakeholders.Excellent communication skills in English.Strong communicative competence in Spanish, both oral and written, will be positively valued.BenefitsOpportunity to participate in innovative and high‑level technological projects at an international level, collaborating with a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team.Adaptable working hours and remote work policies for better time management.Flexible remuneration plan (meal cards, private medical insurance, childcare vouchers, etc.) and life & accident insurance.Physical and emotional wellness programme, including sports, workshops, etc.Professional development through technical training, skills, languages, etc., to continue growing and achieving goals.We promote equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion of all people and we are certified as a Family Responsible Entity (efr).
