The position isbased in Barcelona , with projects acrossSpain and Europe , and a strong focus onon-site commissioning and start-ups .What We’re Looking ForProven experience programming PLC systemsfrom scratchusingSiemens TIA Portal .Availability to travel up to80%for on-site commissioning/start-ups.Motivation to work in highly technical, high-automation environments (logistics/warehouse automation).English level B2–C1 . Key ResponsibilitiesYou will take ownership of PLC development and on-site delivery, ensuring systems run reliably from day one:Develop, test, and implement PLC programsfrom scratchusingSiemens TIA Portal .Design and developHMIscreens andSCADAsolutions for real-time monitoring and control.Leadequipment setup, calibration, commissioning and start-upat customer sites.Provide on-site support during installation and ramp-up phases.Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, production) to optimize functionality.Maintain technical documentation (programs, versions, changes, FAT/SAT notes).Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Support and train production and maintenance teams when needed. Required Qualifications4+ yearsof experience as a PLC Programmer.Strong proficiency withSiemens TIA Portal .Demonstrated ability to develop PLC programsfrom scratch .Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
