Partner with three Scrum teams to deliver web and backend platforms, drive discovery, and build the architectural runway.Responsibilities- Own system architecture and conduct technical reviews across teams.- Lead cross‑team integration and interface design.- Drive discovery, prototyping, and the architectural runway to ensure delivery readiness.- Design client‑side architecture for web and mobile, ensuring cross‑platform consistency.- Build observable, scalable backend services in Go.- Define and enforce non‑functional requirements: scalability, availability, security, observability, and performance.- Coach and mentor senior engineers; influence hiring, on‑call practices, and engineering standards.- Collaborate with Product and Design to translate customer problems into technical solutions and measurable outcomes.- Improve engineering processes and tooling to reduce cycle time and increase reliability.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field (required).- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.- Demonstrated leadership in architecture and delivery across multiple teams.- Strong proficiency with at least two of: React, Next.js, Go.- Hands‑on experience with observability, incident response, and performance tuning.- Track record of delivering systems with strong UX, maintainability, and operational quality.- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Nice to Have / Opportunity to Learn- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform/Scalr).- Experience with Next.js server‑side rendering patterns.- Prior work in distributed systems, high‑traffic services, or data‑intensive platforms.- Experience with data science platforms.Working StyleWe focus on continuous, iterative delivery, clear documentation, and asynchronous communication across multi‑regional teams.
