What you'll achieve As a key driver of operational excellence, you will report to the Business Unit Manager and act as a strategic partner for the plant. You will be empowered to: Secure Reliability: Provide technical support to resolve process deviations and improve reliability . You ensure that technical hiccups don't stand in the way of our performance, addressing issues at the source. Drive Engagement: Promote a proactive mindset and drive engagement in continuous improvement at all levels of the organization . From the shop floor to management, you will be the catalyst that inspires everyone to ask,\ "How can we do this better?\" Champion Continuous Improvement: Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing projects across production lines. You won't just follow standards; you'll set new ones (Create Wow ). Empower the Team: Train and support operators in Lean tools and best practices. Optimize Performance: Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Technical Services to maximize plant reliability and efficiency. Drive Results: Define, monitor, and report KPIs. Your work will directly improve productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency (Take Responsibility ). Who you are We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who loves the factory floor. An Engineer: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar. Experienced: You bring 3+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing (ideally in the Food Industry). A Lean Practitioner: You have strong knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies (Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Certification). A Leader & Coach: You have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and train others. You build trust easily. Analytical: You have a mindset oriented towards problem-solving and data-driven decisions. Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and at least a B2 level in English.
