Product Manager - Brokerage on J.P. Morgan Personal Investing Job Description As a Product Manager for Brokerage, you will innovate new product offerings and lead the end‑to‑end product life cycle. You will act as the voice of the customer, develop profitable products that provide customer value, guide successful launches, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top‑tier client experiences. Job Responsibilities Develop and articulate a clear product strategy that delivers meaningful value to customers and aligns with the firm’s broader objectives. Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap. Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition. Build frameworks and track key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability. Build strong collaborative relationships across departments, including internal teams (Product and Engineering, Compliance, Operations and Investments) and external partners. Define and manage an organized roadmap and supporting backlog to ensure the team delivers products that most positively impact customers and the business. Passionately improve the Product Development process to maximize team effectiveness and efficiency. Balance business and technical objectives and translate them into clear priorities for the Engineering team. Oversee product development, testing, and release management to maintain high standards of quality and reliability. Participate in agile ceremonies—daily stand‑ups, planning meetings, and retrospectives—to drive transparency, accountability, and continuous learning. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area within financial services or technology. Proven track record of successfully building wealth management products, familiarity with brokerage and/or mutual funds end‑to‑end lifecycle. Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics. Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management. Experience delivering large, complex digital product initiatives with cross‑team dependencies. Experience with software delivery best practices, working with technical product requirements, modeling dependencies, designing minimum viable products, and handling multi‑country requirements. Ability to explain technical issues clearly to business stakeholders. Ability to analyze and incorporate user needs, business needs, and technical constraints/opportunities into the product development process. Serves as glue among departments, creating shared understanding by translating ideas and concepts into technical or layman terms. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, finance, or a related field. Track record of delivering successful products based on first‑principles design, data, and customer feedback. Demonstrated experience navigating and working in matrix and complex organizations, collaborating effectively across teams and functions. About Us J.P.
