CARBON MARKET ANALYST (TRADING & MARKETING) Location:European / Remote Level:Analyst (3–5 years experience) Reporting to:Head of Sales & MarketingCOMPANY OVERVIEW Quadriz , founded in 2019, is the largest carbon project developer in Paraguay. We specialize inNature-based Solutions (NBS) , specifically protecting the native forests of the Gran Chaco—one of the world's most critical biodiversity hotspots. Our flagship REDD+ project,“Corazón Verde del Chaco,”conserves 32,000 hectares of forest. Our sister company,Investancia(est. 2011), focuses on reforestation and advanced biofuel feedstocks (HVO/SAF). Together, we operate at the intersection of conservation, reforestation, and global climate finance.THE ROLE This role sits at the intersection ofmarkets, data, and storytelling . You will support global carbon market activities across the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM), compliance schemes, and biofuel markets. Scope of Focus 40% Market Analytics:Translating complex data into actionable insights. 30% Trading & Capital Raising:Supporting deal flow and investor relations. 30% Marketing & Go-to-Market:Creating compelling, data-driven content.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Market Analytics (40%) Synthesize Dynamics:Review VCM and compliance market movements, liquidity, and themes. Policy Monitoring:Track regulatory changes, methodology updates, and emerging trends. Modeling:Maintain price curves, scenario views, and opportunity screens for credits and allowances. Insight Integration:Analyze project methodologies and co-benefits to inform trading and fundraising narratives. Reporting:Prepare periodic dashboards and internal/external memos. 2. Trade & Fundraising Support (30%) Execution Support:Manage incoming trade requests and coordinate timely internal responses. Counterparty Management:Maintain a portfolio database of corporate and financial intermediaries. Investor Relations:Develop fundraising applications, investor presentations, and investment proposals. Event Prep:Prepare briefing materials for industry events and attend as part of the commercial team. 3. Marketing & Business Development (30%) Content Creation:Produce thought-leadership snippets, product sheets, and slide decks. Campaign Support:Draft copy for digital/offline marketing and manage content calendars. Segmentation:Adapt messaging for specific audiences, including corporates, funds, and intermediaries.REQUIREMENTS Experience & Knowledge 3–5+ yearsin carbon markets, energy/commodity trading, finance, or climate policy. Direct exposure toVCM or compliance carbon systems(ETS) is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of carbon pricing drivers, registries, and standards (Verra, Gold Standard, etc.). Technical & Soft Skills Analytical Rigor:High proficiency in Excel (data handling, basic modeling, and charting). Communication:Exceptional writing skills; able to simplify technical data into "human" narratives. Languages:Native or fluentEnglishis required;Spanishis a significant advantage. Tools:Comfort with collaboration tools likeNotionor similar platforms. Mindset:A self-starter who thrives in "fast-moving" ambiguity and takes full ownership of outputs.WHY JOIN US?
