Sales Representative – Barcelona
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving significant impact by systematically analyzing the market in the Catalonia and Balearic Islands territory to identify potential strategic accounts, defining and implementing development plans for these accounts that form a foundation for installed base growth and subsequent business expansion.
In This Role
Drive strategic sales growth by designing and implementing plans for sustained and profitable expansion of both the installed base and new business in your assigned territory.
Cultivate and maintain strategic commercial relationships with current and potential customers, developing customized value propositions to meet their needs.
Conduct thorough market and prospect research, systematically identifying new opportunities and staying updated on industry trends and competitive dynamics.
Ensure high customer satisfaction by effectively managing problem resolution and coordinating seamlessly with internal functions for comprehensive support.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline information in SFDC and continuously enhance your knowledge of company products, solutions, and market developments.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in complex sales, new customer business development, and developing sales plans linked to financial targets.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate with internal functions (Finance, Applications, Product Specialists, IT, Contracting, Customer Service, Marketing, Technical Service, Projects) for effective customer problem resolution and needs.
Multiple years (3+) of direct commercial sales experience.
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, physics, or a technical science-related field.
Fluent in Catalan and/or Spanish, and English (good oral and written comprehension). Demonstrated knowledge and mastery of diagnostic market concepts and products.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel within the Catalonia (60%) and Balearic Islands (40%) territory.
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
