SAP EWM Consultant – Spain
Role: Lead Consultant – SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).Location: Alcobendas, Spain.Compensation: Competitive including bonus.Employment Type: Full‑time.Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior.Job Function: Information Technology.Industry: IT Services and Consulting.
Responsibilities
Lead the team for successful project delivery.
Propose solutions and guide team members for blueprinting sessions.
Integrate with other satellite systems/vendors to create integrated solutions for clients.
Present solutions in architect/design meetings and secure approval for deployment.
Liaise with client business teams and advise clients.
Interact with customers on a day‑to‑day basis and build customer confidence.
Prepare proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects.
Track team deliverables regularly and report to customers.
Propose the best possible solution in the industry in the EWM domain.
Required Qualifications
2–3 end‑to‑end SAP EWM implementation projects with complete lifecycle experience.
Experience integrating EWM with automated systems such as ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers, etc.
Experience with EWM integration to MES and S4 modules (Manufacturing, Quality Management).
Solid knowledge in inventory management areas: Inventory Management, Stock Transfers, Special Stocks, Stock Types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation.
Solid knowledge in warehouse management areas: WM Master Data, Inbound/Outbound delivery processing, Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts, Inventory reconciliation, Shipping and Transportation Management, Mobile Data Entry, RF units.
Solid knowledge in EWM areas: Integration with ECC, Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration, Kitting, Cold chain management.
Understanding of integration aspects with other modules (SD, MM, PP, QM).
Understanding of business processes in the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain.
Ability to understand business requirements from users and prepare requirement documents, functional specifications.
Understanding of GXP and SOX requirements; experience in highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of release governance processes; experience with incident management and testing tools.
Experience handling post‑go‑live critical issue resolution until stabilization.
Experience working in environments utilizing non‑ECC systems (MES, WES) via interfaces such as PI, ALE, REST, etc.
Basic understanding of custom code and basic debugging skills.
Fluent in Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
EWM certification.
ABAP debugging knowledge.
Knowledge of S4 modules (MM, SD, TM, PP, QM).
Knowledge of integration of S4 with other systems (MES, etc.).
