Overview
As Thermo-Mechanical AIT ME, you enable and industrialize the Manufacturing System for spacecraft projects within Airbus Space Spain. You work in cross-functional projects to develop, integrate, test, and deliver thermo-mechanical and electrical hardware for spacecraft payloads. You’ll lead work preparation, define manufacturing processes, and ensure traceable, compliant MBOM and Dossier contents. This role offers interaction with engineering, production, and quality teams across a multinational space environment and a chance to influence end-to-end AIT execution.

ResponsabilidadesConfer with Engineering to confirm design feasibility within the industrial systemBring industrial expertise to multifunctional project teamsUnderstand and maintain Manufacturing Dossier traceability (As Design-As Planned)Assess and optimize manufacturing technologies within Space Spain Plant and partner networksEnsure feasibility of assembly, integration, and testing of thermal, mechanical, and electrical hardwareDefine MBOM and ensure material availability for Supply ChainProvide technical support to AIT managers and shopfloor teams during breadboard, qualification, and flight model activitiesLead development of AIT work procedures and integrate them into Work OrdersCoordinate with Quality to incorporate control plans and PFMEA inputsSupport scheduling, resource optimization, and budget/input for cost improvementsPromote continuous improvement through lessons learned and PPSContribute to qualification campaigns and deployment of new processes or materialsAssist on-site during campaigns or supplier facilities when neededFoster cross-functional feedback loops and on-site coaching
Requisitos principalesAerospace, Telecommunications, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering background3 to 5 years of experience in AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) productionKnowledge of ESA ECSS standards (nice to have)Knowledge of CATIA (nice to have)Knowledge of DDMS environment (Delmia, Apriso, etc) (nice to have)Fluent in English and SpanishCross-functional collaborationProblem solvingProactive planningAIT in Space projectsManufacturing Dossier and MBOM definitionProcess/work instruction development
