Position Summary With an end‑to‑end approach, we seamlessly navigate the entire service cycle, from meticulous validation and ongoing maintenance to effective obsolescence management. We are looking for an Automation and Control Engineer to join GTD GmbH, the company of GTD Group specialized in the design and development of large, complex and/or safety‑critical applications. GTD Sistemas de Información is an engineering company specialized in rockets (Ariane family) and Ground Control & Command for different launchers and earth observation satellites (civil & military). The ideal person for this position will primarily be responsible for interpreting and designing electrical diagrams and schematics for automation cabinets and measurement systems. The candidate will begin their contract at our headquarters in Barcelona for an initial period of approximately three months. Following this, they will relocate to the permanent position location at GTD GmbH in Markdorf. Responsibilities Interpret and design electrical diagrams and schematics for automation cabinets and measurement systems. Support the end-to-end service cycle including validation, maintenance and obsolescence management. Collaborate on cutting-edge technological projects worldwide. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Electronics and Automation, or a related field. Experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider, Beckhoff, etc.). Understanding of industrial fieldbus systems. Experience in creating electrical schematics and diagrams.
